Welcome to EventBookr

Hi, I’m Ryno, the founder and developer of EventBookr. This platform is a passion project, born out of a vision to create something unique and incredibly useful for the events and entertainment industry.

The idea for EventBookr started almost five years ago, but I didn’t yet have the skills or tools to bring it to life. In early 2022, I wrote the first line of code, and since then, it’s been two years of dedication, coding, and refinement.

Today, I am thrilled to introduce you to EventBookr – a platform designed to become the leading marketplace for everything related to events and entertainment. Whether you’re looking to advertise your services, find the perfect function venue, or promote your public event, EventBookr is here to make it happen.

My goal is to make EventBookr your first thought when planning anything from a small party to a large-scale corporate event. I envision EventBookr as the “Gumtree” of the events and entertainment industry – a place where everything you need is centralised and easily accessible.

Why I Created EventBookr

As a musician and the owner of two music schools in South Africa, I’ve often struggled to find reliable suppliers, service providers, and venues when planning shows or events. The frustration of searching through scattered resources sparked the idea for EventBookr.

I wanted to create a centralised marketplace where everything related to events could be found in one place. EventBookr is my solution to that problem, built to help others avoid the same frustrations I’ve experienced.

Unlike traditional agencies that take commissions, EventBookr operates on a simple advertising model. We charge a minimal fee for listings, with no hidden costs or commitments. This approach empowers our users to advertise their services freely and connect directly with potential clients.
